Bar pr'Mrtinet

A restaurant that has found a home in a converted old barn and revives a family tradition begun back in 1914 by the owner’s great-grandfather. Guests can enjoy specialities from the restaurant’s two open hearths in a cosy, rustic atmosphere – including meat dishes cooked under a traditional iron cover known as a peka, smoked trout and dishes cooked in earthenware pots. Other delights include cheese from the next-door farm, home-cured pork loin, venison prosciutto and bacon from the indigenous Krško Polje pig.

Monday to Friday 11.00-23.00, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 9.00-23.00. Reservation required.
