Čokoljana – A Festival for Chocolate Lovers

The sixth consecutive Čokoljana Festival will take place on 20 October. The event, taking place at the Pogačarjev trg square will feature 60 providers of quality chocolate products.

The organisers expect it will be attended by a few thousand lovers of the sweetest of vices. The objective of the Čokoljana Festival is to raise awareness of the diversity of the chocolate market in Slovenia, and present a number of  types of chocolates, which can be used in hundreds of ways.

Did you know that chocolate is not used merely for desserts and that it can be a wonderful ingredient for your appetizers or the main dish? Various providers introducing themselves at Čokoljana, will present their chocolate products, which can be eaten, drank, spread on a slice of bread, used as topping or as a cocktail ingredient.

The main dishes rarely use chocolate as an ingredient, yet the carefully prepared recipes with a sophisticated measure of chocolate and spices can change the way we perceive the ingredients for a main dish.

Do not miss the Čokoljana Festival and pay a visit to the world of chocolate. Get to know the quality local products and enjoy the sweet indulgence. Welcome!
