Gourmet Ljubljana Crawl

Partnered with Ljubljana Tourism and Gourmet Ljubljana, Ljubljana’s sights (galleries, museums) and landmarks will transform into genuine pop-up eateries, where renowned Chefs from Ljubljana’s restaurants will be preparing their signature dishes in a unique ambience. Gourmet Ljubljana Crawl participants will move between locations where they will have the opportunity to taste individual dishes with top wines.

On March 16, the walk will begin at noon at the Ljubljana Central Market, where the young and talented chef Jakob Pintar (TaBar) will serve his amuse-bouche. Jorg Zupan (Atelje) will prepare the first appetiser in the extravagant atmosphere of the Museum of Illusions, while the second appetiser will be served at the Kresija Gallery by chef Janez Bratovž (JB Restaurant). Igor Jagodic (Strelec Restaurant) will invite you to the first main course, held in the City Hall, and Peter Kovač (Maxim) will welcome you with the second course at the Ljubljana Castle.

The walk will conclude with a dessert, much loved by everyone – according to chef Mojmir Šiftar (Evergreen), which will be served at the Križanke outdoor theatre, where on the same day, the pre-premiere of the Open Kitchen event will take place, which will also mark the first day of the European Food Summit, taking place on various locations until 19 March.
