The November Gourmet Festival Will Once Again Enrich the Culinary Offer of Ljubljana

This November, the November Gourmet Ljubljana Festival, will, for the second consecutive year, bring together the most important Slovenian culinary names and Ljubljana’s fine dining restaurants.

It will feature numerous professional and educational events themed on gastronomy and hospitality. Its diverse programme will undoubtedly enrich the culinary offer of Ljubljana this Autumn.

Ljubljana is already on the European map of popular culinary destinations; therefore the aim of Ljubljana Tourism is to enrich the events schedule in the city with a top quality gastronomy festival, organised under the patronage of the Gourmet Ljubljana brand, and provide the visitors an opportunity to enjoy the best the city can offer.

Various caterers of Ljubljana will adapt their menus in the spirit of “Taste Ljubljana (Okusi Ljubljane)”, i.e. the traditional dishes of Ljubljana prepared by using modern cooking methods. The selected hotels will again offer festival packages to their guests and the Festival itself will make sure to satisfy all cooking and gastronomy enthusiasts.

The highlight of the festival will by the November Gourmet Final event, taking place at a unique location, the City of Design (Mesto oblikovanja), at the Dunajska cesta street. The selection of the new taste of Ljubljana will be a part of its programme for the second consecutive year; the taste will be selected from the new original recipes, submitted to the “New Taste of Ljubljana (Nov okus Ljubljane)” campaign.

So, November will again be filled with interesting events this year. Do not miss out on the educational culinary events and an opportunity to meet the most important culinary names in Slovenia. Follow our website and the Gourmet Ljubljana social media and share your culinary experiences on Instagram with the #gourmetLj hashtag.
