The British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce (BSCC) commemorated their tenth anniversary. Its vision is to introduce the companies the market of the United Kingdom by organising various events in Slovenia and the UK. Mr Alan Coxon was a guest at the Maxim Restaurant in the frameworks of the British National Campaign “Food is GREAT Britain”.
On the first day, Coxon and the chef of the Maxim Restaurant, Peter Kovač, and his team of cooks prepared a banquet at the reception of the Management Board President of the Mercator Company, Mr Tomislav Čizmič, prior to the concert of the London Philharmonics at the Cankarjev Dom at the Maxim Restaurant. They also organised a banquet for the visitors of the concert of the London Philharmonics at the Cankarjev Dom.
On the second day, they presented their culinary skills at the gala banquet at the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, hosted by the Maxi Klub. They prepared ten different British dishes from local Slovenian ingredients for this event.
The Masterchef Alan Coxon researched culinary traditions all around the globe in his career and discovered original recipes and that is the challenge Peter Kovač organised for him. The use of characteristic Slovenian ingredients did not cause any issues to Coxon. He claims success requires correct key ingredients and secret spices.
